Our Story — Est. 1993, Berkshire

Driven by craft.

Three decades of family ownership. One workshop. Every window and door designed, built and installed by the same hands.

Guided by honesty. Grounded in purpose.

01 — Our Story

It started with a workshop and a refusal to compromise

In 1993, what began as a family workshop in Berkshire has grown into one of the Home Counties' most respected timber window and door specialists. Over three decades later, the same family still runs the business — not because tradition demands it, but because nobody else would hold themselves to the same standard.

Most companies in this trade outsource at least one stage of the process. The survey goes to one team, the manufacture to another, the installation to a third. We made a deliberate choice early on: keep everything under one roof. Survey, design, CAD drawings, timber manufacture, factory finishing, installation — one team, one standard, no broken telephone.

It's slower. It's harder. And it's the only way we know how to guarantee that every window leaving our workshop meets the standard our name demands.

"We've never been the biggest. We've always been the most particular."

02 — What We Stand For

Three principles, thirty years

01

Craft

Every joint, every profile, every finish — made by our hands

Craft isn't a marketing word for us — it's the daily reality of our Berkshire workshop. In-house manufacture means we control every millimetre. Conservation-grade joinery for Grade II listed properties. Accoya and engineered timber options for modern performance. Factory-finished to a standard that weathers decades, not seasons.

02

Honesty

Transparent process. No surprises. No hidden costs.

From the first measured survey to the final installation, you'll know exactly what to expect — and what it costs. We don't upsell. We don't inflate timelines. If something isn't right, we'll tell you before you find out yourself. Our reputation was built on trust, and we'd rather lose a sale than a good name.

03

Purpose

Every window serves the property, not the other way around

We don't impose a house style. Each project starts with the building — its period, its character, its conservation requirements. Every design decision serves the property first. That's why architects recommend us, conservation officers approve our work first time, and homeowners come back for a second project.

03 — The People

Open the workshop door

Not corporate headshots against white backgrounds. These are craftspeople at work, timber in the workshop, hands on tools. One team — from first measurement to final finish.

Where Every Window Begins

This is where it happens. Survey notes become CAD drawings, CAD drawings become timber profiles, timber profiles become finished windows. Everything from first measurement to factory finish happens within these walls — and the team who draws it is the same team who builds it.

Skilled craftsman focused on detailed woodwork

David, Master Joiner

22 Years with the Workshop

Twenty-two years of conservation-grade joinery. David has worked on some of the Home Counties' finest listed properties — and he still inspects every window personally before it leaves the workshop. His standards haven't changed since day one.
